A MESSAGE FROM MICHAEL MORGAN

As we close our 16th Season, I am eagerly looking forward to the new season, marked by the merger of the Sacramento Philharmonic and Sacramento Opera. I am honored to continue as Music Director of the new organization and to provide artistic leadership for continued opera and orchestral music in the region. I am especially pleased that we will continue our dedication to “building community through music,” whether through our numerous and innovative community engagement initiatives or by inviting audiences to join together to experience the finest in traditional classical music along with the freshest new serious composers.
